World Cleanup Day: First is family where to learn cleanliness
World Cleanup Day is one of the largest but the youngest civic movements. For the first time ever, on September 15, 2018, more than 18 million people from 157 different nations took part in simultaneous global cleanup efforts. Since then, the third Saturday in September has been designated as World Cleanup Day. To date, the cleanup movement has brought together millions of individuals in 180 different nations to clean up the earth.

কুরবানি পশুর বর্জ্যও সম্পদ

সলিম উম্মাহর জন্য ঈদুল আজহা বা কুরবানির ঈদ একটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ধর্মীয় অনুষ্ঠান। কুরবানি শব্দের পারিভাষিক অর্থ হলো- নৈকট্য লাভ, ত্যাগ, বিসর্জন, উৎসর্গ ইত্যাদি। একমাত্র আল্লাহর সন্তুষ্টি অর্জনের জন্য আল্লাহর নামে নির্দিষ্ট নিয়মে নির্দিষ্ট পশু (প্রিয়) জবেহ করাকে কুরবানি বলে। সামর্থ্যবানদের জন্য এটি ফরজ ইবাদত। কিন্তু আমরা বেশিরভাগ মানুষ ঈদের আনন্দে বিমোহিত হয়ে পরিষ্কার-পরিচ্ছন্নতার কথা ভুলে যাই। হাদিস শরিফে আছে ‘পবিত্রতা হলো ইমানের অংশ’- সহিহ মুসলিম : ৪২৭।
